CLARK MORRISON
Clark Morrison was a 1986 graduate of Glynn Academy, where she was a 16-time letter winner, claiming varsity letters in basketball, softball, cross country and track each year she was at Glynn. She was part of four region championship teams in basketball, cross country and track and played on a Final Four team in basketball.
As co-valedictorian of her senior class, Morrison won Georgia’s Female Scholar Athlete of the Year in 1986. She won several superlative awards at Glynn and was an all-state basketball performer two times. She went on to play basketball at Valdosta State University, where she was a four-time letter winner, three-year starter and a team co-captain. She was an all-conference, all-academic team member three times and won the VSU Student-Athlete of the Year award in 1989-90.
She also was awarded the Anne Poe Hopper Award, the highest honor given annually to one VSU student for overall excellence, which includes community involvement. She attended law school at Emory University in Atlanta and has practiced law for the last 18 years, working at Emory since 1997. She has served two terms on the VSU board of trustees and has been a volunteer basketball and baseball coach in her free time.
