The Glynn County Sports Hall of Fame named Glynn Academy senior pitcher Shaun Munoz as the Glynn Academy-Brunswick High Player of the Series following the matchup between the local schools for the City Championship on the baseball field this past week. Munoz is pictured with former GA coach Chuck Fehr, far right, former BHS coach Jimmy Brown, middle, and Hall of Fame inductee Murray Poole, retired sports editor at the Brunswick News. Munoz earned the pitching win for the Red Terrors in the opening game which they won 12-1. He got the save Friday in the decisive third game that Glynn won 1-0 on its home field to claim the city title. Munoz worked the sixth and seventh innings, striking out five of the seven batters he faced to send the Terrors to the victory over BHS.
